Kapodistrias have started the new year with the announcement of their exciting business partnership with Goodyear and Dunlop tyres. From January 1, 2018, Kapodistrias’ latest high profile collaboration will see the island’s biggest automotive parts supplier import and distribute Goodyear and Dunlop tyres throughout Cyprus. The agreement will also see Sava tyres added to Kapodistrias’ extensive tyre range. The agreement was made after the US tyre manufacturer chose to expand their distribution network and decided that Chr. Kapodistrias & Sons Ltd was the best partner to help them achieve their goal of becoming the best-selling tyre in the Cypriot market.

The details of the agreement were jointly presented by Kapodistrias’ managing directors Constantinos and Marios Kapodistrias and Goodyear-Dunlop Hellas Key Accounts Manager George Meidanis at a press conference in Nicosia on December 19, 2017.

"We are proud to announce that one of the longest-standing tyre manufacturers in the world, Goodyear-Dunlop, has decided to expand its network and has chosen Kapodistrias as their official distribution partner in this endeavour with the key objective of becoming the leading brand in the island’s tyre market, " said Constantinos Kapodistrias.

Our shared goal is for Goodyear, Dunlop and Sava tyres to become a trusted brand in the hearts and minds of Cypriot consumers and in doing so obtain the market share befitting of a tyre manufacturer with such a high standing, " added Marios Kapodistrias.

George Meidanis, Goodyear-Dunlop Hellas Key Accounts Manager, also added: "There is a great deal of potential for growth in Cyprus’ premium tyres market and we feel that Kapodistrias’ infrastructure, organization and history in the automotive parts market make it the ideal partner to realise this potential."
