On Wednesday, February 10, 2016, Chr. Kapodistrias & Sons Ltd made a donation of 5,000 to the Cyprus association for children with cancer and related diseases “One Dream, One Wish”. The company’s co-CEO, Mr. Constantinos Kapodistrias, handed the cheque to the president of the association Mr. George Penintaex. The money came from the sale of the company’s “Garage Girls 2016” Calendar, together with an extra donation of the Kapodistrias company. 1500 calendars in total went for sale for 3 euro each.

The response was amazing and greater than expected. As a result, the calendars were completely sold within 3 weeks of publication.

“On behalf of the Cyprus association for children with cancer and related diseases “One Dream, One Wish”, I express our enormous gratitude for your contribution for the needs of children and young people who battle against cancer and various diseases. We wish you to always be rich in happiness and poor in pain”, stated Mr. Penintaex.

In his reply, Mr. Constantinos Kapodistrias said that “It is in our company’s culture and philosophy to offer back to the society in various forms and we wanted the publication of our calendar to fall within these lines of our social responsibility. Our donation may be a small drop in the ocean of huge needs, however, we hope that it will offer even a small relief to our fellow human beings who give their own battle in life”.

The management and staff of Chr. Kapodistrias & Sons Ltd wish to thank deeply all its partners, customers and friends who responded positively in its call for help, offering the symbolic amount of 3 euro for each calendar, as the amount collected is going for a very good cause.
